We will use recipient information only for purposes connected with the order, delivery, customer support, safety, fraud prevention or legal compliance. We will not add a gift recipient to promotional marketing merely because their details were supplied for delivery.

We seek to collect and use only the personal data reasonably required for these purposes.
6. Consent and withdrawal
Where consent is required, we will seek it through a clear affirmative action. You may withdraw consent for optional processing by contacting us or using the relevant unsubscribe or privacy control.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal. It also does not prevent us from processing information that remains necessary to fulfil an order already placed, provide a requested service, maintain legally required records, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute or comply with applicable law.
7. Guest checkout and optional customer accounts
Customers may place an order as a guest or create an optional customer account where that feature is available.
An account may be used to view order history, save addresses or access other account features. You are responsible for keeping account access information secure and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account activity.
You may request closure of an account by contacting support@aditisweets.in. Closing an account does not require us to delete order, invoice, payment, complaint or other records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence
Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal data when you visit the website, use store features, create an account or make a purchase. This processing supports hosting, storefront functions, checkout, security, fraud prevention, analytics and other ecommerce services.
Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. When this setting is enabled, Shopify may securely use information from customer interactions with our store together with information from interactions with Shopify and other Shopify merchants to generate insights and provide advanced services. These services may include improved products and personalisation, improved store performance, security and fraud prevention, and more effective advertising or marketing measurement.
Information may be shared with Shopify and relevant third parties, including parties located in other countries, to provide these services. Your choices made through our cookie banner, applicable privacy controls or Shopify's privacy portal may affect Shopify's use of information for non-essential or advertising purposes.
For more information about Shopify's processing and your choices, please review:
- Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers
- Shopify Privacy Portal: https://privacy.shopify.com/
9. Razorpay and payment processing
Online payments are processed through Razorpay and the relevant banks, card networks, UPI services or other financial institutions.
Razorpay and those financial providers may collect and process identity, contact, device, transaction, payment, risk and verification information to authorise payments, prevent fraud, process refunds, meet regulatory obligations and provide payment services.
Razorpay's handling of buyer personal data is described at: https://razorpay.com/buyer-privacy-notice/
Payment providers act under their own legal and regulatory responsibilities. Their privacy notices and terms may also apply to the information they process.
10. Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics 4
We use Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic, customer journeys, product interest, checkout activity, sales performance and website reliability.
These analytics services may receive online identifiers, cookie information, device and browser information, approximate location, referral information, page interactions and ecommerce events. We use the resulting reports to improve website navigation, products, merchandising and customer experience.
Google's handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Analytics cookies and similar technologies are controlled through the cookie banner and available browser or device settings where consent or choice is provided.

- Measure traffic, performance and purchases;
- Understand how visitors use the website;
- Support personalisation; and
- Measure or improve marketing where permitted.
Essential cookies are required for functions such as security, cart operation, checkout and account access. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the website from working correctly.
For all visitors, we intend to provide a cookie banner or preference tool that allows a visitor to:
- Accept non-essential cookies;
- Reject non-essential cookies; and
- Manage cookie preferences.
Non-essential analytics, personalisation or advertising technologies will operate in accordance with the choices recorded through the applicable consent tool and the requirements of applicable law.
You may also manage cookies through your browser. Deleting or blocking cookies may affect saved preferences and website functionality.
12. Marketing communications
Where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by applicable law, we may send:
- Promotional emails;
- Promotional SMS messages;
- Promotional WhatsApp messages;
- Festival and gifting announcements;
- Product-launch messages;

- Abandoned-cart or abandoned-checkout reminders.
You may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may opt out of SMS or WhatsApp marketing by following the instructions in the message or contacting support@aditisweets.in.
Marketing withdrawal does not prevent us from sending transactional or service communications concerning an order, payment, delivery, refund, complaint, account security, product-safety notice or response to an enquiry.
13. Photographs and videos submitted for support
Photographs or videos submitted to support a damage, tampering, missing-item or quality claim will be used to investigate and resolve the issue, maintain relevant records, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
We will not publish such photographs or videos, use them in advertising or identify the customer publicly without separate permission, unless disclosure is required by law.

We may share relevant personal data with:

Delivery partners may receive the recipient's name, address, telephone number and relevant delivery instructions. Service providers should receive only information reasonably necessary for their role.
Aditi Sweets does not sell or rent personal data for money. Some disclosures for cross-site or cross-merchant advertising, personalisation or measurement may be treated as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain privacy laws. Where such laws apply, available cookie, opt-out and Shopify privacy controls may be used.
15. Processing and storage in other countries
Shopify, Razorpay, Google and other service providers may process or store personal data in India or other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Where cross-border processing occurs, we will use service providers and arrangements permitted by applicable law and will take reasonable steps intended to protect the information. We may update our practices where legal restrictions on international transfers change.
16. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy and for applicable legal, accounting, tax, food-safety, security and dispute-resolution requirements.
Our general retention approach is:
- Orders, invoices, payments, refunds and tax records: for the period required by applicable accounting, company, tax and other laws;
- Customer account information: while the account is active and thereafter as reasonably necessary for legal, security and record-keeping purposes;
- Customer complaints and product-quality claims: three years after closure, or longer while a dispute, investigation or legal requirement remains active;
- Wedding, corporate or bulk enquiries that do not become orders: twelve months after the last meaningful communication;
- Marketing subscription information: until consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer required for the relevant marketing purpose;
- Unsubscribe and suppression records: for as long as reasonably necessary to continue respecting the opt-out;
- Privacy requests and responses: three years after the request is closed;
- Security and fraud-prevention records: for as long as reasonably necessary to protect customers and the business; and
- Website analytics and cookies: according to the relevant service settings, consent choices and applicable legal requirements.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten or securely deleted in the ordinary course.
17. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse or destruction.
Access to personal data is limited according to business need, and we expect service providers to apply appropriate security measures. However, no internet transmission, payment system or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Please protect account access information and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Where required by applicable law, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities of a personal-data breach.
18. Your choices and privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may request to:
- Receive information about personal data we process about you;
- Access a summary or copy of your personal data;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Update information that has changed;

To make a request, email support@aditisweets.in and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant record and understand the request. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity and protect personal data from unauthorised disclosure.
A request may be limited or declined where we must retain or process information to fulfil an order, comply with tax or accounting rules, investigate fraud, manage a food-safety or consumer complaint, resolve a dispute, establish or defend legal claims, protect another person's rights or meet another lawful requirement. We will explain the reason where required by law.
Where a privacy choice concerns Shopify's own processing, you may also use Shopify's Privacy Portal at https://privacy.shopify.com/.
